It is glass master that makes the difference!
This technology differs from duplication in that it involves the production of a CD from a polycarbonate mould with the data pressed into this mould using a stamper made from a glass master.
The advantages are evident:
1) hundreds of thousands of replicated media in some days.
2) compatibility with all CD/DVD players available.
3) water and scratch proof printing.

The only disadvantage is that the cost of equipment setup are prohibitive for small CD runs.
